During my visit to India, I met Bishop Wilbert Marwein from the Diocese of Nongstoin, Northeast India.
He recently took a trip to Rome and also came to Vienna. We were delighted to welcome him and two other Indian priests. Sr. Monikka, our Indian sister, was particularly pleased about the visit from her compatriot.
Bishop Marwein was very interested in our religious life, our works, and how we put the name “Franciscan Sisters of Christian Love” into practice in everyday life. He was also very impressed by the life and work of Sr. M. Restituta, whom he had come to know better through our exhibition.
The joint Mass was a sign of the global Church, in which we are all integrated. We hope there will be a reunion in Austria or India.
