The joint Christmas celebration of the staff and religious sisters began in the atmospheric setting of the monastery chapel. The sisters’ festive arrangements, together with the active participation of the staff, created a sense of togetherness and connection.

In her address in the festively decorated chapter hall, Superior General Sr. M. Birgit Dorfmair focused on the celebration of love, peace, and hope, and expressed her deep appreciation:

When I look at your faces, look at your hands, I can only humbly say – THANK YOU.

This thanks was for everyone who, through their daily commitment, helps to bring the charism and mission of the order to life, and to carry love, peace, and healing into the world.

The celebration concluded with a joint meal for staff and sisters. The evening ended in cordial fellowship, good conversation, and a pre-Christmas atmosphere – sustained by the wish that the blessing of Christmas may accompany us in the new year 2026.
